You have passed the halfway mark of the first week, congrats!
How are you feeling so far, is the addiction to sign painting kicking in? Or are you starting to struggle and wanting to quit?
Let me tell you that when I started sign painitng I was shocked by how difficult it was! And it's true! The start is always the hardest, everyone says it. I struggled a lot. I felt overwhelmed by the number of things I needed to consider, (getting the right paint's consistency, palleting, keeping my back and shoulders relaxed and painting consistent strokes). My shoulders and elbows started to ache, my bedroom stunk of fumes, and it took me ages to set up my painting station every day (back then I didn't have a studio, nor space in my room to practice), but I got hooked nonetheless and was determined to learn, so I stuck to my daily practice. Eventually, one day I started to notice the improvements and the process became more natural.
So, I hope you don't quit. Keep practising as much as you can, I promise that the practice will pay off.
